Consumers’ perception of ceramic tiles in Nigeria has gone through a dramatic shift over the last decade. Our people have gone from a rarely talked about surface finish used for utilitarian purposes, to a rarely out of the spotlight, fashion forward, must-have material. All signs point to ceramic tiles as the new “in” décor material for the home. Gone are the days when ceramic tiles were just for bathrooms. In every community in Nigeria today modern houses are more likely to have ceramic tile floors than carpeting.
